We're a team of professionals dedicated to growing and protecting the wealth of our clients, and providing an unmatched client experience

A Consistent & Focused Approach to Comprehensive Wealth Management

Since its founding in Florence, SC more than 19 years ago, the Armstrong Wealth Management Group has been specializing in serving the financial needs of medical professionals, retirees and those close to retirement, and busy professionals. By focusing on these individuals, we have been able to consistently build a body of knowledge and experience that other generalized firms are typically unable to match.

From familiarity with the particular types of risks our clients typically face and the opportunities available to them, to the smallest of interactions we've been able to hone and polish our approach as we strive to deliver the highest quality wealth management services with the best in class client experience.

Serving with Lighthouse Ministries.

About our Clients

Our clients–doctors, retirees, and busy professionals–don't have the time or desire to manage everything themselves, but they do want to understand the strategy, and always be kept informed and in the know. They want to prepare for tomorrow, without sacrificing today. They have families with unique goals and challenges, and rightly expect us to help them find the right solutions–not simply try to fit them into a box. They expect an enjoyable client experience from their wealth management firm, and don't settle for "okay"–let alone sloppiness or unprofessionalism. Our clients care about their communities, and value doing business with people who recognize that blessings come with responsibilities.

Investing in our Communities

“...if you've been blessed, you give back.” - Regi Armstrong A True Leader, SCNOW, February 27, 2017

Blessed with a thriving business, we believe that it is important and necessary to give of ourselves and help strengthen our community. As a company, we've taken a pledge to donate at least 2% of our revenues to organizations working to serve our area, and all of us regularly volunteer in various organizations. While we support many organizations, our major causes which receive our primary focus are Lighthouse Ministries, and All4Autism, two organizations serving the Pee Dee area and doing a world of good.

What Makes us Tick

Our Cultural Values are the core of who we are and are a part of what we do and how we do it

By default, or design every company has a unique culture. Just think of IBM and Apple. When you consider IBM, you likely think of professionals dressed in blue suits. When you think of Apple, you probably picture a free-thinking and very casual work atmosphere that fosters innovation. Company culture can be a powerful force for good but, as is too often seen, a toxic culture can be devastating. So as a firm based on Christian principles, we take seriously our responsibility to foster a good work culture. We've built and continue to support our culture by design: to help us be our best and do our best at every moment.

God & Family First God & Family First We want our associates to work to live, not live to work.
Integrity & Confidentiality Integrity & Confidentiality When we say we’ll do something, our clients can bank on it; and everything is private.
The Client is Our Employer The Client is Our Employer Our clients are our real bosses. We are here to serve them.
Do It Right the First Time Do It Right the First Time There is plenty of room to make mistakes, but not with a client’s money. It is easier to get it right than to fix it.
Deliver More Than Expected Deliver More Than Expected We want to under promise and over deliver. We want to deliver an exceptional personal level of attention to our clients.
Continuous Improvement Continuous Improvement Founded by a tinkerer–who always tests things and trying to see if it can be done better, cheaper, faster, etc.– we each seek ways of improving our particular areas of responsibility and the entire firm as well.
Leverage Technology Leverage Technology We want to maximize modern technology to improve our offering and the way we do business. High tech, however, should never be at the expense of high touch.
Systematize Everything Systematize Everything By making sure we have systems in place, we can deliver consistent service with less potential for errors.
Document Everything Document Everything Every conversation or action relating to client must be recorded. This is not just for regulatory reasons. If one of us gets a call from a client regarding a certain ongoing situation, the details of what has already occurred are easily accessible.
Give Back to the Community Give Back to the Community We are blessed to have a thriving business. We believe in supporting charitable causes, especially local ones, to help those who are in need.

What might our competitors have that we don’t?

Not all financial advisors and investment firms are the same

The old saying is true: you can't have it all. Here's what other firms and advisors have that we just don't. Click or tap one to see how we're different.

Us: Fee-based, independent and objective.

The very structure of our business is designed to align our interests with our clients.

Them: Commission-based and product-driven.

Often focused on selling specific products or services, and meeting corporate quotas–not necessarily focused on the client's best interest.

Us: Strategies to prepare for tomorrow, without undue sacrifice today.

We understand that achieving your long-term goals can only happen if your strategy and path is sustainable today too.

Them: Unbalanced view focused on end-goals above all else.

Born of a one-size-fits-all mentality, many firms fail to account for their client's current wants and desires.

Us: A broad range of knowledge and experience, focused on you.

All Armstrong Wealth clients get an advisory team including Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified in Long-Term Care Specialist (CLTC), and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) professionals.

Them: Narrow advisory team.

Without a number of different folks with a diversity of certifications, education, and experience on a client's advisory team, many firms bring a narrow perspective to bear on clients' issues & opportunities.

Us: Collaborative and service-oriented.

We know that clients' lives are easier, and our strategies better informed if we work closely with our clients' tax and estate advisors–so we do.

Them: Sorry, we don't do that.

Whether it's unwillingness, or inability, many financial services firms simply don't take the time to coordinate with your tax and estate advisors.

Us: Individualized goal-based tax-efficiencies.

We focus on your goals, and ensure we are choosing strategies that we believe are best suited to them-we don't believe in one-size-fits-all.

Them: Generalized tax-efficiency. Or… not.

Not everyone is at the same point in their financial journey, and not everyone has the same goals. That means tax-efficiency strategies should be individualized-but they often are not.

Us: Real relationships for the long-haul.

Our company culture is intentionally built around people-first principles that encourage long-term investment in relationships. Taking genuine interest in our clients as individuals and families, we have access to non-proprietary investment strategies for all our clients' various financial needs, including insurance. We're not limited or pressured by proprietary products.

Them: Proprietary Products for Profit.

Often, especially with brand names, your advisor is just one piece of a much bigger machine focused on creating and selling ever-repackaged products & services... Making you the captive audience for the marketing department.

Us: Rules-based strategy to sell.

We have a comprehensive rules-based strategy–the WealthProtect System–that takes into account both objective and subjective measures of the market and is designed (but not guaranteed) to limit significant losses in major bear markets (excess of 30% loss from market peak to market trough). It is NOT designed to prevent normal market losses (under 20%). No strategy can assure a profit or protect from a loss. Occasional false signals can reduce returns.

Them: Buy and hold? Sell when you feel like it?

When markets get real ugly, do you just hold on and hope for the best? Sell at the first sign of trouble? How do you define trouble? Without a rules-based approach, you basically rely on gut.

Us: Proactive and helpful contact on a regular basis.

We call our clients on a regular basis because we understand the trust they have in us is earned, and we have a responsibility to keep them informed. We also know that situations change, goals morph, and sometimes adjustments need to be made. By keeping in touch, we believe we're better able to serve the broad financial needs of our clients in a friendly and stress-free manner.

Them: ...please leave your message after the beep.

Do you have a financial advisor? When is the last time they initiated contact? Too often in our industry, the onus is on the client to make contact. Regular contact isn't just important to keep you informed, it's important because listening to you is a prerequisite for understanding you.

SUCCESS! Your message has been sent and we'll contact you shortly.
