WealthTeam

A specific team of informed professionals dedicated to your financial picture.

For each Armstrong Wealth client, a three-person team is assembled and assigned to the task of pursuing your goals. Each WealthTeam includes:

  • A Primary Client Wealth Manager who is responsible for your plan, portfolio, and the entire relationship with Armstrong Wealth. This certified financial professional will be your primary point of contact, will meet with you, and keep you fully informed.
  • A Support Client Wealth Manager is also assigned to ensure that more than one person fully understands your unique situation.
  • A Client Service Manager who is responsible for all concierge service requests and outreach.

With a dedicated WealthTeam you'll always receive friendly and professional personal service from folks who know you and genuinely care.

WealthPortfolio

A thoroughly diversified portfolio designed for each client and based on our dual mission to help our clients grow and protect their wealth.

We believe a portfolio normally has four key goals: provide long term growth, provide current income, protect purchasing power over time, and reduce risk of economic and financial shocks.

To pursue these goals we begin with the following basic approach to portfolio construction:

  • Diversify broadly based on Investment Objectives.
  • Further diversify among multiple asset classes in each broad category.
  • Select the appropriate investment vehicles for each asset class.
  • Rebalance the portfolio at least annually.

This strategic approach means that our client portfolios will rarely track a common benchmark, such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average or the S&P 500 Index, and are more appropriately evaluated over a full 3-5 year market cycle.

WealthProtect

A behind the scenes investment risk control system designed and managed by our President, Regi Armstrong.

Our comprehensive system is designed (but not guaranteed) to limit significant losses in major bear markets (excess of 30% loss from market peak of S&P 500 to market trough). The basic tenets of the system are:

  • When the market is undervalued, it takes two components to trigger.
  • When the market is fairly valued or overvalued, only one component is required to trigger.
  • When triggered, the intent is for us to sell equities and place the proceeds in fixed income in most portfolios.
  • When the system triggers to re-invest, we redeploy assets back to the model.

When triggered, there is no guarantee we can divest in a timely manner. For some clients, we may use certain investments that seek to achieve positive returns in a declining market for a portion of the cash allocation. There is no guarantee we will time redeployment correctly. This system will occasionally give false signals which may affect portfolios adversely.

Discovery Meeting FAQs

What should I bring to the Discovery Meeting?

We have a helpful Discovery Items checklist. All items may not pertain to you and your situation, please bring items on the list you do have.

How long is a typical Discovery Meeting?

Typically these last anywhere between 60 to 90 minutes long.

Should both spouses attend?

We do ask that both spouses come to the Discovery Meeting, if at all possible. Finances are a big part of marriage and your family's future.

What if we need to reschedule?

We understand things come up. You can call us at 843.292.9997 to reschedule. If possible, please contact 24 hours in advance.

Where is the meeting? Do you have driving directions?

Unless otherwise arranged, the meeting will be at our offices on West Evans Street in Florence. See a map and get directions.
