WealthProtect Status Update: August 2015

We email the status of our WealthProtect System* monthly and give probability (Low, Mid, High) of a change in status within the next two months. We also include a commentary on actions taken this month as well as changes in overall asset allocation.

Commentary

The WealthProtect System again did not trigger, but it was super close again. US equities are relatively flat for the year and the pullback in early August almost led to triggering out. Developed foreign equities are similarly close to triggering out. REITs, on the other hand, have strengthened slightly over the past month. US equities continue to be led by fewer and fewer stocks, indicating the current bull run is getting narrower. Narrow markets often lead to unpleasant outcomes. As I mentioned previously, this is a frustrating time for investors. Please call if you have questions.
