Kristen Myers spent most of her life in a small town right outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, before relocating to South Carolina post hurricane Katrina. From there, she made her way to the upstate, graduating from Clemson University (2012) with degrees in Communications and Management.
Upon graduation, Myers landeda position atFluor Enterprises, Inc., where she was part of a team working on international government proposals. Through her exposure to project management, construction and procurement services, Myers interest in development began. Later relocating to Florence, SC, Myers has held key leadership roles at Raines Co. (Hospitality Management and Development) since she joined the organization in March 2015. After she served as Vice President of Development for five years, Myers transitioned into an overarching Vice President role to oversee the Raines’ long-term trajectory by guiding the company through a rebrand and expansion of offerings. During this time, Myers also managed Raines’ insurance portfolio and launch of its IMS (Investor Management Systems) platform, all while still playing a key leadership role in development. As Raines continued to grow, Myers, along with other members of theexecutive team, identified an opportunity to enhance and foster its investor relations infrastructure. In this specialized role, Myers was responsible for the company’s investment and capital activities, that focused on investor relations, investment analysis, and underwriting. Through her engagement in the community, she was presented an opportunity to take on a role in Banking. In February of 2025, Myers joined First Citizens as a Senior Premier Relationship Banker. In this role, Myers was responsible for building full financial relationships with a book of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach while cultivating relationships with new potential clients. In this role, Myers interest in client development, financial planning and wealth management grew, leading her in to the Wealth Management space.
At Armstrong Wealth, Myers is eager to build on current client relationships, while engaging prospect clients looking to begin or expand their overall financial success.
Kristen currently resides in Florence, SC with her husband Baker, and her two daughters (Emma – 7, and Claire – 1). She remains involved in the community and is an active member at First Presbyterian Church. Kristen is a recent Leadership Florence graduate, she is a member of the Florence Rotary Club and she currently serves on the board of the CAREHouse. In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, leisure golf, traveling, and anything water related. Current licenses held: SIE, Series 6, Series 63, SC Insurance
